These mounting plates are designed for the air bag coil delete kits found separately in our online store.
These can be installed either as a replacement for broken plates in the raised air bag kit or can be used to upgrade your standard height air bag kit to suit a 2" lift!
The main difference between the standard and raised height air bag kit is the lower mounting plates.
The rear lower control arms in a standard height Y62 sit relatively level. Whereas a lift causes those arms to lean down.
To counter this, the lower mounting plates in the raised kits are angled. This allows the air bags to be mounted vertically upright even though the control arms are tilted.
