All freight estimates are only estimates, they are not guaranteed. The estimates given to customers at the point of booking on the website are directly from the carrier themselves and are subject to change. The estimates are for the delivery time, they are not estimating the time of Despatch.

We are not same-day Despatch, we ship items from the previous 24 hours, and on Mondays we ship in order from 5pm on the previous Friday. Express orders are prioritised, and Standard freight orders can take 1-3 business days to be processed and sent.

Covid-19 has impacted the delivery network due to staff shortages and backlogged freight in the delivery centres. Standard freight options can take a few more business days than usual to reach customers, and Express options although they’re prioritized are still seeing delays. Please continue to check your tracking and if there are any issues, contact our freight department at freight@patrolapart.com.au 

Weather events in VIC, QLD, NSW and WA late last year impacted deliveries due to flood water damage in delivery centres and certain areas were made unreachable. The rail links between the East Coast and WA were also impacted, with major restoration needed, delaying all rail operations which is where Standard freight is transported on. Freight is moving more smoothly now but there are still delays from time to time and we will endeavour to provide as many updates as possible when extreme weather events occur.

Patrolapart welcomes customers back into our store, we just ask that you not come in if you experience flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with a Covid-19 positive person. Masks are not required but are encouraged. Covid-19 related delays are still being experienced in the delivery network which is out of our control and we thank you for your patience in this time. If you find the part you require online and the yellow button says 'add to cart' that means it's available for you to purchase and is in our warehouse ready to be despatched. The only exception to this is when we have a part that we order in specifically, so please be sure to read the description of the part - if we need to order it in, it will be clearly stated in red text at the bottom of the listing.

If you find the part you require online and the yellow button says 'notify me when back in stock' this means it can't be added to your cart, and when you click this it will add you to the email list so that you're notified as soon as we have them available in our warehouse.

Australian Buyers:

It is well documented that this issue presented on new vehicles under warranty.
Therefore it is reasonable to assume that the below issues contribute to wheel wobbles and are not the underlying cause.
Usually a combination of the below faults being rectified fixes the issues.

  • Wheel balance
  • Out of round tyres (as opposed to out of balance)
  • Loose wheel bearings
  • Insufficient castor
  • Worn or urethane panhard bushes
  • Worn drag link
  • Adjustment of steering box
  • Worn tie rod ends
  • Cracked panhard mount at chassis
  • Steering damper unserviceable

If you buy from any of our listings, you are agreeing to our Warranty & Returns Policy.

  • Patrolapart will not accept returns or provide refunds where the buyer has decided they no longer “want” the supplied parts.
  • No Return or Credit will be Granted if parts are used, dismantled or tampered with. Parts returned  must be complete and as sold in clean, original packaging.
  • Patrolapart will not recognise any warranty claim where any failure or defect is caused by:
a.  Insufficient or incorrect oil and/or lubricants;
b.  Overheating and/or heat tab missing;
c.  Misuse, overloading, accidents or negligence;
d.  Failure to carry out proper maintenance;
e.  Unauthorised repairs, alterations or dismantling; and
f.   Improper application or installation.
 
  • All claims made to Patrolapart must be accompanied with the original tax invoice.
  • Warranty is non transferable. 
  • All risk for the goods passes to the buyer on delivery.
  • Onus is on the buyer to check the part supplied by Patrolapart is correct at the time of delivery. If this is not possible, the buyer must check the part is correct prior to any installation, preparation and/or painting. Buyers, who fail to check each part for correctness, can claim no compensation.
  • Warranty on product is replacement of part only for defects in materials and workmanship. 
  • No cash or compensation for labour will be given for defects in material and workmanship. 
  • New components will be covered by the warranty provided by our suppliers and will be covered by their individual terms and conditions.
  • Patrolapart will represent the buyer on behalf of their claim to the relevant manufacturer. 
  • Returns will be passed onto the manufacturer for their determination if a warranty or refund claim will be accepted.
  • Defective part must be returned in order for new part to be distributed.
  • Patrolapart is not responsible for costs of return shipping or delivery on part returns. Shipping charges will not be refunded. 
  • A 10% restocking fee will apply to all returns. Exchanges of equal or greater value may not be subject to a restocking fee.
  • Parts will only be refunded if they are returned un-fitted and in their original packaging, otherwise the refund will not be approved.
