This Genuine Nissan Door Lock Mechanism is located inside the right-hand front (driver's) door panel. It is the core component responsible for electronically locking and unlocking the door, integrating with your vehicle's central locking and security system. Over time, the internal motors and electronic components can wear out from constant use, leading to failure. If you're experiencing issues where your driver's door won't lock with the remote, stays locked, or makes a grinding noise when you try to operate it, a faulty lock mechanism is the likely cause.
The Electronic part does not come with the Door lock. It is Common for the Door lock itself to fail internally.
NOTE: When diagnosing your faulty Door lock, please be aware that the driver’s door WILL NOT lock with the driver’s door open. It will only lock when the mech goes into the second lock position when the door is fully closed
