This pair of front inner axle seals are located inside the front differential housing, where the axle shafts enter the differential housing. They are crucial for keeping your differential oil contained within the housing and preventing it from leaking down the axle tubes into your swivel hubs.

Over time, these seals can wear out, become hard and brittle, or be damaged during other maintenance like replacing CV joints or wheel bearings. A common sign of failure is an oil leak from the inside of the swivel hub, often noticeable on the inside of the front tyre.
