TPS Throttle Position Switch - Nissan Patrol GQ TB42 Auto Carby

This Throttle Position Switch (TPS) is located on the side of the throttle body on the carburettor of your automatic Nissan Patrol. It is a crucial sensor that monitors the angle of the throttle plate, sending this information to the transmission control unit (TCU). It attaches on the side of the carby and has a two pin plug.

A functioning TPS is essential for the automatic transmission to shift gears correctly.
