Pertronix Electronic Ignition Extended Rotor Button - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ TB42 Carby

This extended rotor button fits inside the distributor cap on your TB42 carburettor engine. It is a specific replacement part required when upgrading your old points ignition to a Pertronix electronic ignition system. The standard rotor button is too short for this conversion, resulting in a poor air gap between the rotor and the cap terminals. A weak or inconsistent spark is the result, leading to misfiring, rough running, poor fuel economy, and hard starting. This extended button ensures a strong, reliable spark is delivered to the correct cylinder every time.
