Oil Cooler Cover Blanking Plate - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 TB42

This blanking plate is designed to fit the engine block of the TB42 petrol engine, replacing the factory-fitted oil cooler cover. It allows for the complete removal of the standard oil cooler unit. 4x4 owners often need this part when the original oil cooler fails due to internal corrosion or when upgrading to a more efficient, aftermarket oil cooling system. This plate provides a clean, reliable, and professional solution to blank off the oil and coolant passages on the block.

Comes with new bolts as it is a common issue for the factory one to corrode and leak.

When removing the Oil Cooler it is best to replace the pressure relief valve (1524140F00).

You will also need the Oil Cooler removal fitting (15213W040A).
