On a ZD30 The Glow-plug pokes out through the top of the Rocker Cover.
These seals stop the Oil in the crank case Spraying out past the Glow-Plug Body.
They are spring loaded to ensure they seal tight around the Glow Plug body, and they screw into the Rocker Cover.
