Genuine Nissan Thermostat - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU TB48

This genuine Nissan thermostat is fitted right in your engine's cooling system, usually in a housing near the top hose connection. Its job? To regulate your engine's temperature. It's a valve that opens and closes, controlling the flow of coolant to the radiator based on how hot or cold your engine is running.

NOTE: This can also be used on a ZD30Cr Common Rail engine. The ZD30Cr thermostat opens at 82 degrees whereas the TB48 opens at 76.5.

This thermostat does not require a gasket.
