This JAYRAD Heater Core is located deep within the dashboard assembly, housed inside the heater box. It functions as a small radiator, using hot coolant from the engine to heat the air that is blown into your vehicle's cabin, keeping you warm and your windscreen clear during cold weather.
A replacement heater core is often required due to internal blockages or, more commonly, leaks. Telltale signs of a failing heater core include a lack of warm air from your vents, a sweet antifreeze smell inside the cabin, perpetually foggy windows, or unexplained coolant loss and wet patches on the passenger-side floor carpet.
This is an 190mm x 153mm x 26mm Aftermarket Heater Core (Narrow One).
End Tank Thickness on the ends is 36mm.
Note: The entire dashboard needs to be removed to replace the Heater Core.
