This universal joint is fitted to the rear propshaft (driveshaft) of your vehicle, connecting the transfer case to the rear differential. It is a critical driveline component that allows the propshaft to flex and change angle as the suspension articulates, ensuring smooth and consistent power is delivered to the rear wheels.
Replacement is necessary when the original joint wears out. Common symptoms of a failing uni joint include a clunking or clicking sound when shifting from drive to reverse, a squeaking noise at low speeds, or a noticeable vibration that increases with vehicle speed. These signs indicate excessive play in the joint's bearings.
* Note - This does NOT suit RD28 & RB30 engines, they use the smaller Uni Joint on the front and the rear.
Photo is for illustration purposes only, there is a couple of different brands of this item, so they may not be Toyo as pictured, but it may be Matsuba or Koyo, we will send what is available at the time, but it will still be Japanese Universal Joints.
