This set of six high-quality glow plugs is fitted into the cylinder head of your diesel engine. Each plug has a heating element at its tip that heats the combustion chamber to assist with starting the engine, especially in cold conditions.
If your Patrol is becoming difficult to start, running rough when cold, or blowing excessive white smoke on start-up, it is a strong indicator that one or more of your glow plugs have failed. As they are a wear item, it is best practice to replace all six at the same time to ensure reliable starting and balanced engine performance.
