Harrop Rear Diff Lock E-Locker - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 GU Y61

This Harrop E-Locker is a high-performance, electronically controlled locking differential designed to be fitted inside your vehicle's rear differential housing. It replaces the standard "open" differential centre, giving you the ability to lock the rear axle on demand for ultimate off-road traction.

A standard differential is essential for smooth on-road driving, allowing wheels to turn at different speeds when cornering. However, in low-traction off-road environments, this becomes a weakness. Power will always follow the path of least resistance, meaning if one wheel is in the air or on a slippery surface like mud or ice, it will spin uselessly while the wheel with grip receives no power. The Harrop E-Locker solves this problem by forcing both wheels on the axle to rotate at the same speed with a simple press of a button, ensuring drive is sent to the wheel with the most traction.
