Genuine Nissan Turbo Exhaust Manifold Low Mount - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU TD42

This exhaust manifold bolts directly to the driver's side of the cylinder head on your TD42 engine. Its job is to collect hot exhaust gases from each cylinder and channel them into the turbocharger. Due to constant, extreme heat cycles, the original cast iron manifolds are notorious for cracking and warping. A failed manifold creates an exhaust leak, which causes a significant loss of power, increased turbo lag, and a loud ticking or hissing noise under the bonnet. Ignoring a cracked manifold will hurt performance and can lead to damage of other under-bonnet components from escaping hot gases.

These are a 2 Piece manifold, which allows for movement without Cracking the Manifold.
They are also a split Pulse manifold which makes the flow of Gases Much more efficient.

NOTE: This manifold has a EGR port on the manifold as pictured, so a genuine Nissan metal shim gasket and thick EGR blanking plate has been supplied so it can be used on various applications.
