This is the locking nut that prevents the right hand male tie rod end loosening on the tie rod. It's located where the male tie rod end connects into the tie rod, ensuring your steering geometry is locked in for proper alignment. This is NOT the nut that secures the tie rod end to the steering knuckle.

Note: This locking nut has a RH thread, the other side locking nut will have a LH thread.
