Thermostat water fitting

Suits: Nissan Patrol GQ with TB42s, TB42E and RD28 motor

In the TB42 carby and EFI, This is the straight fitting screwed into the underside of the inlet Manifold and has a water Bypass hose attached to it which comes from the bottom of the thermostat assy housing.

In the RD28t Motor this is the straight fitting that is screwed into the boss on the underside of the thermostat housing

It is common for these fitting to corrode over time and start to leak or fall apart when you try and replace the rubber hose.
