This grommet is located on the right (driver's) side wall behind the side kick panel. It provides the anchor point for mounting your ECU (Engine Control Unit) to the body of the vehicle.
If these grommets are cracked, or missing, your ECU will move leading to potential damage to the ECU itself and other electrical issues.
There are also 6 of these used to mount the lower windscreen metal trim on the Y61 GU Patrol.
This grommet is also found throughout the GQ and GU engine bay.
