Genuine Nissan Drivers Oil Pressure Switch Sensor 25psi - Nissan Patrol GU ZD30DI

This genuine Nissan oil pressure switch sensor is located on the driver's side of the ZD30DI engine block above the starter motor. It is a crucial component of your vehicle's engine monitoring system, designed to accurately detect and report oil pressure levels to the instrument cluster.

Over time, these sensors can fail due to constant heat cycles and exposure to oil, leading to inaccurate readings, an oil pressure light that is always on, or worst of all, a light that fails to illuminate when pressure is critically low. The ZD30DI Motor has 2 oil pressure switches a 15psi one and a 25psi one.

This is the one fitted above the starter motor on the drivers side. The 15 psi one is fitted on the passenger side.

Warning: if your oil warning light comes on, DO NOT assume there is a fault with your switch, and have the oil pressure checked properly before driving the car.

NOTE: This Switch does NOT suit the Common Rail engine post 01/2007.
