This genuine Nissan speedo transducer sensor is located on the driver's side of your transfer case in your Nissan Patrol. It is an electronic sensor responsible for measuring the rotational speed of the drivetrain and sending that signal to the instrument cluster to display your vehicle's speed.

Over time, these sensors can fail due to heat, vibration, or internal electronic faults. A common symptom of a failing speed sensor is an erratic, inaccurate, or completely non-functional speedometer.
