Genuine Nissan Bonnet Catch Assy - Patrol GU Y61 S1-3

Located at the front of the engine bay on the radiator support, the bonnet catch assembly is the primary latch that secures your vehicle's bonnet in the closed position. This genuine Nissan part is a direct replacement for your original latch mechanism.

These catches can wear internally creating excess movement, or they can get stiff and jam.

The  rubber bonnet adjusters in the front corners of the bonnet are designed to be adjusted to remove excess movement in the bonnet, the latch should not be used to stop the bonnet wobbling whilst driving.

Depending on your issue we recommend disconnecting the latch from the cable and checking if your issue is in the latch or the cable.
