Genuine Nissan Bonnet Catch

Suit Nissan Patrol GU Series 1-3 (97- 09/04) Models
 
This is the Main bonnet catch mechanism bolted to the front radiator support panel.

These catches can wear internally creating excess movement, or they can get stiff and jam.

The  rubber bonnet adjusters in the front corners of the bonnet are designed to be adjusted to remove excess movement in the bonnet, the latch should not be used to stop the bonnet wobbling whilst driving.

Depending on your issue we recommend disconnecting the latch from the cable and checking if your issue is in the latch or the cable.
