This is the Rubber hose that connects the metal breather pipes on the gearbox, with the Metal breather pipes on the Chassis.
This is for the pipe closest the back of the car
These hoses are very close to the exhaust and go brittle and crack over time, If not replaced then water and mud can enter the gearbox.
If doing lots of river crossings it is recommended to fit extended breather hoses, which can bypass this hose.
