This genuine Nissan heater core is fitted deep inside the vehicle's dashboard within the heater box assembly. It acts as a small radiator, circulating hot engine coolant through its core. The vehicle's fan then blows air across the heated fins, transferring warmth into the cabin for your comfort and for defrosting the windscreen. A replacement is necessary when the original unit fails, commonly due to internal blockages from contaminants in the cooling system or external leaks caused by corrosion over time.
