Suit GQ & GU with TD42 engines.
Suit GU with RD28 & ZD30 engines.
Suit GU with TB45 & TB48 engines.
Suit Y62 with VK56 Engine.
This sensor is on the later model GQ TD42 engines after August 1995 and all GU TD42 engines.
This sensors the temp of the engine to tell the glow plugs when to stop glowing on Diesel Engines, and on Petrol engines is gives the temperature to the ECU.
This is a Genuine Nissan sensor so far superior to the aftermarket alternatives out there which may give incorrect readings and make your glow plugs run for longer than they need to.
Please check the plug, as earlier GQ TD42 engines have a different plug and run a different sensor.
