Genuine Nissan Front or Rear Tailshaft Nut - Patrol GQ / GU

This genuine Nissan tailshaft nut is located at either the front or rear tailshaft (driveshaft) flange, connecting it to the transfer case or differential. It is a critical fastening component responsible for securing the tailshaft in place, ensuring the correct transfer of power through the drivetrain.

This nut may need to be replaced if it has been damaged during removal, shows signs of corrosion, or if the threads have been stripped. It is also highly recommended to replace this nut anytime the tailshaft is disconnected for service to ensure proper torque and a secure, vibration-free connection upon reassembly.

NOTE - This Nut does NOT suit most GQ Y60 Patrols with the RD28 or RB30 engine. They usually have a smaller Nut with the part number 08911-2421A.

There is 16 of these per vehicle (4 for each end of the shaft x two shafts).
