This is the Tow point that bolts to the side of the chassis rail, In 2001 the Patrol went to a Tow point that bolted to the underside of the Chassis.
Very important: This is NOT a recovery point- this is a tow or Tie down point only
You Must never use these Points for recovering a car with a snatch strap as they are not rated for this kind of Load.
