This fuel pump is integrated with the fuel sender unit, which is mounted within the main fuel tank. Access to the sender unit is through an access panel located beneath the rear cargo area carpet.
Like any mechanical component, fuel pumps have a finite lifespan. Over time, the internal components wear out, reducing the pump's efficiency and eventually leading to failure.
