This Genuine Nissan Front Inner Large Wheel Bearing is located within the front wheel hub assembly of your Nissan Patrol. It is a critical component that supports the vehicle's weight and allows the front wheels to rotate smoothly and with minimal friction. Over time, wheel bearings can wear out due to constant load and mileage, or become damaged by water and grit contamination if the hub seals fail. A worn bearing is often identified by a grinding, humming, or rumbling noise from the front wheel area, which may change with vehicle speed or when turning.

It is recommended when doing wheel bearings to buy a hub seal as well, as the seal needs to be removed to replace the inner bearing as above.

Replacing wheel bearings is a moderate workshop job that requires specialised tools for pressing the old bearing out and the new one in.
