This axle shaft is located in the front axle housing on the left-hand (passenger) side of the vehicle. It's the complete assembly that transfers drive from your front differential out to the wheel. The Constant Velocity (CV) joints are a common wear item, especially on a lifted or hard-used 4x4. When the protective rubber boot splits, dirt and water get in, contaminating the grease and destroying the joint. Failure to replace a worn CV axle will result in a loud clicking sound on full lock, and can eventually lead to a complete failure, leaving you with no drive to that wheel and potentially stranded.
This is for the front left-hand (passenger side) of Australian Right-Hand Drive vehicles. Please check vehicle fitment to confirm compatibility with your vehicle. Please contact us with your VIN details if you require further assistance to confirm fitment.
