This is a Laser Cut 10mm Ring, Designed to be welded onto the diff housing around the outside of the drain plug.

It is designed to protect The drain plug from being smashed by rocks etc, which make it hard to get the Drain Plug out.
 
This ring has an internal diameter of 50mm and an outer diameter if 65mm.
