Dayco Thermostat 82 Degree - Nissan Patrol GU (Y61) & GQ (Y60) TD42 Diesel

Right there, nestled in your Nissan Patrol's cooling system, is the thermostat. Its job is pretty straightforward: it stops coolant from circulating when your engine's cold, letting it warm up fast. Once it hits the right temperature, it opens up and lets the coolant do its thing, keeping your motor from cooking itself.

This thermostat opens at 82 Degrees Celsius, unlike the genuine Nissan unit which opens at 76.5 degrees.
