Genuine Nissan Viscous Hub Clutch Fan - Nissan Y60 GQ Patrol TD42

Located at the front of your TD42 engine, the viscous fan hub is bolted to the water pump pulley and is responsible for engaging the main cooling fan. This component contains a special fluid that allows the fan to spin at the correct speed relative to engine temperature. When they fail, the fluid either leaks out or breaks down, causing the hub to stop engaging the fan correctly.
