Located on the underside of your bonnet, these clips secure the heat insulation pad to the underside of your bonnet. Over time, these clips can become brittle and break, leaving your bonnet insulation sagging.
A sagging bonnet insulator can come in contact with moving parts causing damage to the insulator and other parts. I can also cause the insulator to come into contact with hot under bonnet components noise potentially causing a fire hazard.
