This pair of heavy-duty billet arms is fitted to the rear suspension of your vehicle, replacing the original factory toe arms. These arms are a critical component for controlling the angle of the rear wheels (known as 'toe'), ensuring they point straight ahead.
When you lift your Nissan Patrol Y62 or undertake a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) upgrade, the factory suspension geometry is altered. This often results in the rear wheels no longer being correctly aligned. The standard, non-adjustable arms cannot compensate for these changes, leading to handling issues and excessive tyre wear. These fully adjustable billet arms are specifically designed to correct the rear toe angle, restoring proper alignment and vehicle stability after modifications.
Failure to correct the rear toe alignment after a lift or GVM upgrade can lead to rapid and uneven tyre wear, significantly reducing tyre life. Your vehicle may also feel unstable or "wander" on the road, particularly at higher speeds, compromising both handling performance and safety.
