This heavy-duty bracket is designed to mount your steering damper securely to the vehicle's chassis or steering linkage. It serves as the critical anchor point that allows the damper to effectively absorb shocks and vibrations from the steering system.
Over time, especially with off-road use, the original factory bracket can bend, crack, or rust, compromising its strength. This is also a necessary upgrade when fitting a stronger, aftermarket pin-to-pin style steering damper, as the original bracket may not be compatible or strong enough to handle the increased forces.
