This Patrolapart starter motor is a direct-fit, heavy-duty replacement that suits Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ and Ford Maverick DA models with the TB42 petrol engine, and Y61 GU models with the TB45 and TB48 petrol engines. It mounts to the engine's bellhousing and engages the flywheel to crank the engine. As a reliable and cost-effective alternative to the genuine starter, this unit is engineered to address common failure points caused by the internal wear of components such as brushes, solenoids, and windings.
Important Note: This starter motor is fitted with a TB45/TB48 style electrical plug. When fitting to a TB42 engine, the connector from your vehicle's original wiring loom must be re-used.
