This pair of Roadsafe recovery points replaces the standard, non-rated factory tie-down loops, which are not designed for the stresses of a snatch or winch recovery.
Upgrading to rated recovery points is one of the most critical safety modifications you can make to your 4WD. The factory-fitted loops are intended solely for securing the vehicle during shipping and transport. Using them for recovery can be extremely dangerous as they are not built to withstand the immense dynamic forces generated by a snatch strap or the static pull of a winch.

Y62 S5 Ti-L Models will need chassis nut inserts to fit these two points. We recommend a Steel M12 Knurled Nut Insert. You will need to drill out 3 of the 14mm holes in the chassis to 16mm.
