Engine Australia Timing Cover w/ Oil Pump - Nissan Patrol GU Y61 RD28Ti

This timing cover assembly is fitted to the front of the engine block on the RD28Ti engine. It serves a dual purpose: it protects the critical timing components from debris and damage, and it houses the engine's oil pump, which is essential for circulating oil throughout the engine.

Replacement is necessary when the original cover becomes warped, cracked, or damaged, often resulting in persistent oil leaks. More importantly, the internal oil pump gears can wear out over time, leading to a critical loss of oil pressure that can endanger your entire engine.
