Oil Filter Housing Spigot

Suits: Nissan GU Patrols with ZD30 engines, suits both Direct Injection and Common Rail.
These white spigots are used to replace the exisiting black insert inside the oil filter housing on the ZD30 engine.
It is very common that the factory black plastic piece comes out with the oil filter and many people throw them away not realising that it is stuck inside the filter.
This causes the new filter to move around inside the oil filter housing not filtering the oil properly and can cause engine contamination due to lack of filtration.
Make sure with your next service you make sure that you have an insert inside the housing, if not, buy one of these straight away to rectify the issue.
