User Reviews

  • No gasket required???

After fitting this thermostat, ( without a gasket ), the water pissed out. I then removed and refitted it after I put some JB weld gasket maker, it still leaks, but not as much as before. I then called up re this issue, and I was informed that no gasket required does not mean that there is no gasket required, you must still put a liquid gasket. I mentioned that I had put the JB weld on and that it was still leaking, I was told to check the engine side of the fitting for straightness with a small straight edge. OMG, Since I bought into the "no gasket required", I now have to walk to a spares shop to buy a gasket. Never again.
