This pair of heavy-duty front sway bar links connects your vehicle's front sway bar (or stabiliser bar) to the front differential housing. When a Nissan Patrol is lifted 2-3 inches, the original factory sway bar links are too short to accommodate the increased ride height. This places the sway bar at an incorrect angle, limiting suspension travel and compromising handling. These extended links are engineered to correct the sway bar geometry, restoring proper suspension performance and vehicle stability for lifted 4x4s.
The links are adjustable between a minimum of 35mm longer than a standard link and maximum of 55mm longer than a standard item.
Please take care to carefully set the length correctly. The sway bar must be long enough, thus not limiting downward travel, whilst being short enough to allow full suspension compression.
Once you have your adjustment set correctly, please use a drop of Loctite (or similar) to lock the locking nut into place.
NOTE: When installing these to your vehicle, please ensure you have 15mm of thread at a minimum inside the rod for strength.
Supplied with new washers, new Nyloc nuts and new link rubber bushes ready for installation to your vehicle as pictured.
