This genuine Nissan engine mount bracket is designed to be welded directly to the left-hand (passenger) side of the chassis on your Nissan Patrol. It serves as the crucial connection point between the TD42 engine and the vehicle's frame, securing the engine and absorbing vibrations. This part is commonly needed when the original chassis mount has cracked from metal fatigue or has been damaged due to rust or off-road impacts.
Patrols were fitted with 2 and 4 bolt engine mounts, the difference is where the mount bolts up to the chassis, there is either 2 bolts or 4 bolts holding it to the chassis, these do not work with 2 bolt Engine Mounts
These are used in Engine Conversions from ZD30 to TD42, where new mounts need to be welded to the Chassis.
