This is a Genuine Nissan right-hand front (driver's side) guard panel, designed specifically for early model Y60 GQ Nissan Patrols and DA Ford Mavericks. This panel fits between the front door and the bumper, protecting engine bay components from debris kicked up on and off the road. It serves as a direct replacement for guards that have been damaged in a collision or are suffering from rust and corrosion, identifiable by dents, scratches, or poor panel alignment.
This is a Series 1 style guard, identifiable by the pre-drilled hole for the side repeater indicator located behind the front wheel arch.

Replacement is a moderate job that involves unbolting the old panel and aligning the new one. Bolts on top are in engine bay, back bolts are accessible though driver's side door hinge gap and 2 on the front may require taking apart some of the front of your car apart. You may also require mounting bolts, a side repeater indicator, and an inner guard liner.
