Doing a head gasket job or a full rebuild on your TB42 or TB45 petrol engine? Then you're going to need a new set of head bolts. These bolts are what clamp the cylinder head down onto the engine block, creating the critical seal that keeps combustion pressure, oil, and coolant where they belong.

Re-using old bolts can be dangerous to your engine and not worth the risk.

Make sure when you fit these, use some engine oil in between the bolt head and the washer.
