Brake Proportioning Valve Extension Bracket - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 GU Y61

This extension bracket is fitted to the vehicle's chassis, connecting to the rear brake proportioning valve. It is designed to correct the operating angle of the load-sensing spring after a suspension lift has been installed.

When you lift your Patrol, the increased distance between the chassis and the rear differential puts tension on the proportioning valve's linkage. This incorrectly tells the braking system that the rear of the vehicle is unloaded, causing it to drastically reduce braking pressure to the rear wheels. This bracket extends the mounting point, restoring the correct geometry and ensuring your braking system performs as it should.
