This self-leveling air bag kit is designed to be fitted inside the rear coil springs of your vehicle. It is an ideal solution for vehicles that tow heavy loads or are often loaded with gear for touring and off-road adventures.
When you place a heavy load in the rear of your Nissan Patrol Y62 or connect a caravan or trailer, the rear suspension can compress and sag. This kit provides an effective way to restore the correct ride height by using durable airbags that can be automatically adjusted. The self-leveling system monitors the vehicle's height and uses an onboard compressor to add or remove air from the bags as needed, ensuring your vehicle remains level, stable, and safe on the road.
This kit is a full manual valve set up with no ability to change ride height from the driver's seat, meaning you only get one ride height.
Using height control valves, this auto-level kit adjusts the air pressure within your Air Bags to maintain a standard ride height throughout weight changes in your vehicle.
This results in your vehicle maintaining a similar driving style as well as improved stability while under load.
This kit comes complete with specific Y62 Brackets, Bolts Fittings etc ready to install.
To be legal these need to be inspected and signed off by a local Engineer. Without engineering these are not road-legal and are for Offroad Use Only.
NOTE: This item is the Auto Level Kit only. You will require a compressor and air tank to be installed for this system to work. We have Multiple different options here, ranging from compressors inside the car, to inside the engine bay, Air tanks inside the car or under it. We recommend having the compressor outside the passenger compartment as it can run quite frequently keeping air up to the system in some situations.
We have a bracket and a tray for mounting single or twin compressors in the engine bay, An Auto level Kit is required to legally install and engineer the Air Bag Coil Delete Kit to a Y62.
