This is a genuine Nissan high-pressure injector pipe for the number 2 cylinder, designed specifically for the Nissan Patrol GU Y61 fitted with the ZD30DI (Direct Injection) engine. Located in the engine bay, on left hand side of the cylinder head, this pipe connects the high-pressure injection pump directly to the fuel injector on cylinder #2, delivering precisely metered diesel fuel for combustion.

Over time, the original pipe can fail due to metal fatigue from constant high pressure and engine vibration, or it can be accidentally damaged during maintenance. A leaking injector pipe can lead to hard starting, a rough idle, loss of power, and excessive black smoke. Replacing a worn or leaking pipe is crucial for restoring engine performance and preventing the serious fire risk associated with a high-pressure diesel leak.
