This is a high-performance Inconel stud designed to secure the turbocharger to the exhaust manifold on Nissan Patrol TD42T and TD42Ti engines. Developed as a superior upgrade to the factory steel studs, which are known to stretch, snap, or suffer thread damage due to extreme heat cycles. Made from Inconel 625, a nickel-chromium superalloy renowned for its resistance to fatigue in high-heat, high-pressure environments, it provides exceptional strength and reliability for a permanent fix. These studs are sold individually, with four (4) required per vehicle.
Installation is a moderate workshop job, as original studs are often seized and may require specialised tools for removal. We also carry complete Inconel exhaust manifold stud kits separately in our online store if you are overhauling the entire system.
You may also require: When replacing these studs, it is highly recommended to also install a new turbo to manifold gasket (1441551N0A) and new nuts (CNM10SET) to ensure a perfect seal.
