Handbrake Cable - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

Handbrake Cable - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 & DA

This handbrake cable is the front section that connects directly to your handbrake lever inside the cabin and runs down to the equaliser, where it joins the rear cables. It is a crucial component of your vehicle's parking brake system.

Over time, the original handbrake cable can stretch, fray, or seize due to age, moisture, and constant use. This results in a handbrake lever that feels loose, pulls up too high, or fails to hold the vehicle securely. Replacing a worn or damaged cable is essential for restoring the proper function and safety of your parking brake.

This handbrake lever may need the opening bent a little to get the clevis pin fitted in.
