Genuine Oil Pressure Relief Valve - Nissan Navara D40 Spanish VQ40

Genuine Oil Pressure Relief Valve - Nissan Navara D40 Spanish VQ40

This Genuine Nissan Oil Pressure Relief Valve is a critical component located within your engine's lubrication system. Its job is to regulate the oil pressure, bleeding off any excess to protect seals, gaskets, and the oil filter from damage. A faulty valve can stick open, causing dangerously low oil pressure, or stick closed, leading to excessively high pressure. Ignoring a faulty relief valve can lead to catastrophic engine failure from either oil starvation or blown seals, resulting in costly repairs.
