Genuine Nissan Glow Plug Double Pole RD28 - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

Genuine Nissan RD28 Glow Plug Double Pole - Nissan Y60 GQ Patrol

This glow plug is located in the cylinder head of your RD28 diesel engine. Its job is to pre-heat the combustion chamber, which is critical for starting your engine, particularly in colder conditions. A faulty or worn-out glow plug will cause significant starting issues. You'll notice your Patrol is hard to start, blows excessive white smoke, and runs rough until it warms up. Ignoring a failing glow plug is a bad idea; if the tip breaks off, it can fall into the cylinder and cause major engine damage.
